Back on: Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus stepped out for sushi in Los Angeles this week proving that their on/off relationship has been resurrected

They've been on and off for the last few months but it appears as though Miley Cyrus and her beau Liam Hemsworth are finally back on.

The couple, who met on the set of romantic movie The Last Song, stepped out for sushi together in Los Angeles and looked to be back to their old ways.

Miley, 18, and her boyfriend walked side by side as they left the restaurant - at one point Miley placed her hands lovingly on the Liam's face.

She matched the grey top with a pair of dark denim short shorts, shiny black ballet pumps and a leopard print shoulder bag.

Meanwhile Liam stayed casual in a grey v-neck T-shirt, with jeans and a pair of blue canvas Vans trainers.

The couple enjoyed the delights of the restaurant together and then headed home.
It's not the first time the on/off couple have been spotted dining out together in recent days.

Earlier this week they were joined by Liam's older brother, Thor star, Chris Hemsworth grabbing a bite to eat at M Street Kitchen, one of his favourite new restaurants.


On/off... but the couple finally look to be back on the right path


The trio dined on the patio of the Santa Monica eaterie, enjoying the rainbow and miso salmon sushi rolls, grilled fish tacos and shredded spinach salad.

Miley and Liam met while filming The last Song in June 2009.

In the movie, Miley and Liam played teenagers who fall deeply in love for the first time and, in a case of life imitating art, the pair began to date.

Cyrus later called Liam her ‘first serious boyfriend’.

In September last year, it was confirmed that her relationship with Hemsworth had ended. But they were seen together a month later, and were reportedly back on.

It was then announced in November last year that the couple had split again.

In March this year, Miley and Liam reportedly rekindled their relationship and Cyrus confirmed in an interview in Australia that she and Hemsworth were indeed back together.
